Prostitute Mickey - Episode 2: Home Sweet Mickey

Mickey gets some bad news and a visitor in episode number two of this most excellent fucked up satire of a certain famous cartoon mouse and his friends. I really do wish I thought this idea up. It reminds me of old 1950s EC Mad comic book parodies. Oh yeah… AND this episode brings us Mini and Goofy!

My love/hate for Disney can be seen here in my original illustration - Mick the Skull.

Prostitute Mickey - Episode 1: Mickey’s Night

Mickey earns some money to try and help Pluto in this first episode of Prostitute Mickey. I have this love/hate relationship with everything Disney, and I love this parody I found on youtube. Man I wish I thought this idea up - freaking awesome.

MAD Magazine Covers, 1952-1955 — Covers 11-20 (of 20)

Hey Roboteers, here’s the second half of my post of covers for the first 20 issues of Mad comics from William Gaines’ EC Comics. In 1955 to avoid censorship from the Comics Code Authority Mad went from it’s color comic book format into the larger black & white magazine format that we’re all familiar with.

Welp Roboteers, that’s all of the Mad comic book covers! Please enjoy!

Here are the covers for the first 10 issues of Mad comics from EC Comics. Mad, as we know, went from being a color comic book into the larger black & white magazine format, we’re all familiar with, to avoid censorship from the Comics Code Authority in 1955.

The other ten covers are coming tomorrow! So stay tuned and as always Roboteers, enjoy!

Men Photographed in Stereotypical Pin-Up Poses

petapixel quote:
“Men-ups!” is a humorous project by photographer Rion Sabean featuring men doing pin-up-style poses. It’s interesting how much more absurd some poses instantly look when they’re being done by men.

There are a couple more photos that can be seen in this Flickr set.

Shout out and a thank you to my friend Simon for showing me this hilarious social commentary artwork/photography.

Check out all of my questionable Freaky Friday posts here. As awlways, please enjoy!!
